Why does Last Breath Fitness Exist?

Hey, I’m April, and here’s why I started Last Breath Fitness.

My why is deeply personal. In 2023, my mom died two days before her 58th birthday. She had open-heart surgery on April 13th and passed away on July 29th—never once making it back home. It was a major surgery, and she was not healthy enough to recover from it. I watched her body slowly give up on her long before it should have. At 57 years old, she relied on a walker. Even leaving the house required a stair lift and a wheelchair. It showed me—without mercy—what happens when you put yourself last for too long, and how quietly life can shrink before it ends.

I’m here to teach discipline, grit, and the kind of self-respect that comes from doing the hard things even when you don’t feel like it. I’ve lived the excuses. I’ve lived the pain they create. And I decided to end that story with me.

I coach others to take their health seriously—before life forces the lesson.

If you’re ready to become the strongest version of yourself—mentally and physically—Let’s, get busy and get to work.
